Angiograms

Angiogram 1    LAO projection of ascending aortogram demonstrating a Co-arctation of  descending aorta below left subclavian origin.

Angiogram 2   LAO projection of LV gram demonstrating V.S.D. jet into Right ventricle.

Angiogram 3   LVgram in RAO projection demontrating massive mitral regurg in systole of LV with reflux into LA and even pulmonary veins L + R that drain into left atrium  (MR+++)

Angiogram 4   LV gram in RAO projection.   Note the pericardial calcification +++ (? old TB ??? anything)

Angiogram-5   Left coronary angio on a "code blue" patient with poor output showing filling of proximal aorta with contrast;  late showing of CPR being performed ( death outcome).

Angiogram 6   Same patient as in (5) with pulmonary angio. showing bilateral pulmonary emboli (cause of death).  Note:   no run-off of contrast;   IABP insitu and pumping;  Note:   reflux of contrast back into RV and defibrillation pad,  ETT in trachea.

Angiogram 7     Angiogram 8    &  Angiogram 9    Diseased RCA, Amplatz L1 coronary guide, causing spiral dissection at origin of RCA;  temporary pacing wire inserted  - patient for surgery  - wire left in RCA to keep patent  ( pre stent era ! )

Angiogram 10    Osteal Left main coronary diffuse disease - LAD diagonal etc.

Angiogram 11     Same patient with LAO/cranial projection to show conduits for surgery. (ie where to put the grafts)

Angiogram 12     R.A.O. projection of LV gram demonstrating massive inferior aneurysm.

Angiogram 13     RAO projection of LV gram showing round clot in apex of ventricle - high possibility of emboli - stroke if fragments dislodged.

Angiogram 14    RC artery angio in LAO projection showing myxoma tumour blush circulation.

Angiogram 15    Same patient, LAO cranial projection of RCA.

Angiogram 16    Same patient RAO injection of RCA:  Note tumour blush.

Angiogram 17    Same patient Left coronary angio;  slight RAO projection;   normal coronary which is supplying the myxoma (as does the RCA).

Angiogram 18      Angiogram 19    &  Angiogram 20    Three various projections of a left coronary artery showing distinct muscle bridge in mid LAD.

Angiogram 21    Slight RAO projection of left coronary angio. - unremarkable - minor coronary disease - slight ostial left main   ????? small circumflex.

Angiogram 22      Angiogram 22  RAO projection of same left coronary artery angio ??? still small circ.

Angiogram 23      LAO projection of (same pt) Right coronary angio. demonstrating blush into an anomalous circumflex artery (JR4 catheter)

Angiogram 24   Selective engagement of anomalous circumflex artery with a speedy Rt catheter (in this case)   LAO projection.

Angiogram 25   RAO projection of anomalous circumflex

Angiogram 26   LAO projection ascending aortogram, pigtail cath & power injector - huge distended aorta  ???  Marfans.

Angiogram 27   RAO projection of Left coronary angio - unremarkable - note surgical sternal wires.

Angiogram 28   Same pat.  LAO projection of same left coronary ? small LAD vessel.

Angiogram 29   JR4 catheter in RCA (LAO projection) - note anomalous LAD vessel filling

Angiogram 30    RAO projection of same RCA injection showing the anomalous LAD with distal diagonal branch - note septals which confirm it is an LAD vessel.   This is one of the rarest types of anatomical variants.
